Methodious receives MBCC support

NONGSTOIN: Members of 16 Primary Units of the Mawshynrut Block Congress Committee (MBCC) have extended their support to Congress candidate Methodious Dkhar.

8 Primary Units of Maweit area- Porkhadoh, Mawmarin, Maweit, Shyrkon, Umthalieh, Miangshiang, Pyndengmynrow and Risiang with a total vote bank of about 5000 have extended their support to Methodious.

Primary Units of Riangdem, Dorangre, Riangshi, Wahthre, Nongshram, Rongokre, Shallang and Swangreamigam of Garo dominated area have also come out in support of Methodious. These units have a total count of about 6000 votes.

Barai M Sangma the Chief Youth Orgnanizer of the Garo primary units commented that the Garo people of the area were eager to see change in the leadership so that development would usher in.

Evelyn Syiemlieh, president of the Mahila Congress of the MBCC and Shining Puwein President of the Youth Congress MBCC has also extended their support to Methodious.

Barai M Sangma said that this time they would put their faith in Methodious who is a youth and would see the change that he would bring. He said he was confident that Methodious would not let the people down as he had already aided the people of the area especially the needy.

He added that his popularity with the villagers was unbelievable as people of the remote villages who did not even know him were eager to support him.
