NONGPOH: Impressed with the election manifesto of Independent candidate Bathok Nongmalieh who is contesting the State polls from Nongpoh constituency, residents of Umskun village have decided to give him full support.

This decision was taken by the Dorbar Shnong in a meeting held on Monday at Umskun village in the presence of Nongmalieh.

Alleging that Umskun village, which is located 1 km from National Highway 40 in Ri-Bhoi District falling under the Nongpohurban area, has been lagging in all spheres of developmental works when compared with other villages in the constituency, the villagers have decided to extend support to Nongmalieh who has assured to address the developmental needs of the village.
