British supermodel

Naomi Campbell cel

ebrated her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin”s birthday along with Hollywood celebrities on Wednesday in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Hollywood starlets had earlier arrived on Tuesday to attend the birthday celebrations of Doronin.

Campbell herself reached on November 4 to give finishing touches to the birthday extravaganza she has planned for Doronin, who turned 50 on November 7.

Around 80 celebrities attended the four-day gala, which took place at different locations.

The couple, who have been dating since 2008, had zeroed in on the Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur for the pre-birthday bash on November 06, which saw a glittering attendance of the leading celebrities from Hollywood as well as the modelling world.

According to media reports, the catwalk queen had splurged $500,000 to have Diana Ross perform at her boyfriend”s birthday bash, which took place at the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace.

She had reportedly sent e-mail invitations to all the guests, which had a picture of Doronin posing underwater in true James Bond style.

Campbell had also planned an elephant polo match in the area, which had not gone down too well with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

The organisation has planned to approach the Animal Welfare Board of India and Rajasthan Wildlife Department to send Campbell a legal notice, asking her not to violate India”s animal cruelty laws.

Though elephant polo is not illegal in India, organisers of such events were forced to cancel the matches in wake of rising opposition from animal activists

In 2010, Doronin threw a grand party for his girlfriend on the French Riviera, flying in the Black Eyed Peas and Grace Jones. The guest list included Donatella Versace, Kate Moss, Giorgio Armani, Jennifer Lopez, among others. (ANI)
