Officials pay Rs 4000 for public hearing

The officials M/S Nilanchal Cement Company Pvt Ltd at Elaka Rambrai, Jaintia Hills distribute money to people after the public hearing organised by the company at Umlong Kinongrim, Jaintia Hills on Wednesday. According to the president of KSU Narpuh Circle Molin Bamon, each person who came to attend the hearing was given a slip worth Rs 4,000 to get their names registered. After the completion of the hearing, people who could produce this slip were given money. (Contributed by a member of the KSU Narpuh circle)
