JOWAI: Villagers of Iurim Khliehshnong near Pamrakmai Shnong recovered the body of one Biren Rymbai, 42-years who was reported missing since November 5. According to the Rangbah Shnong of Pamrakmai shnong, Rymbai a resident of the village left his wife’s house at Iurim, Khliehshnong at around 3:00 pm on November 5 and never returned home. Residents of Pamrakmai along with the dorbar shnong have conducted a search work but the missing person could not be traced until Monday afternoon when some villagers spotted the body lying in a stream near Iurim Khliehshnong village.

In another incident, the Saipung Police have recovered a highly decomposed unidentified male body from inside an abandon coal pit located at Umpleng, Near Jaintia Cement Pvt. Limited on Monday.
