Awareness camp

NEIGRIHMS is conducting a surgical awareness cum service camp for patients of Gall Bladder diseases and correlated morbidity on the hospital premises on December 3 and 4. All patients desirous of seeking the benefit of this service camp should get themselves registered between November 22 and November 30 in Room No. 22 (Surgical OPD) of NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.

General meet

The Hynniewtrep Truck Owners and Drivers Union will hold its general meeting on November 24 at 11am at Mawryngkneng village to discuss various pertinent matters.

Pre-recruitment

Pre-recruitment familiarization rally for candidates of West Jaintia Hills District will be held on November 26 at Jowai PS at 10am and on November 27 at Amlarem PS at 10am where candidates will be briefed on various aspects of the TRP of the State Police.

Inauguration

The newly constructed Achik Baptist Church at Hawakhana, Tura will be inaugurated on December 16.

DDK programme

DDK, Shillong will telecast a Docu-feature on the occasion of Seng Kut Snem on November 23 at 5.30pm entitled Ka Kyrwoh Seng Kut Snem. The programme has been produced by award winning drama film maker TM Sarangi. There will also be a repeat telecast on December 2 at 4.30 pm.

AIR programme

North Eastern Service, All India Radio, Shillong will hold its monthly interactive invited audience programme ‘A date with All India Radio’ on November 22 at 3pm. During the programme Phrang Roy will be interviewed by Moushumi Chakravarti on his life and achievements in the presence of studio audience. The audience will interact with the guest later in the programme.

Inauguration

Lum Myrli Village Road constructed by the Indigenous Biodiversity & Social Welfare Organisation, Meghalaya will be inaugurated on November 30 at 12 noon. The village is located 145 km away from Shillong near the Sonapur-Dawki-Shella- Balat/Ranikor Border Road and falls within East Jaintia Hills District and Sutnga-Saipung Assembly Constituency.
