Enterprise Facilitation Centre inaugurated

JOWAI: The Enterprise Facilitation Centre (EFC) under the Integrated Basin Development and Livelihood Programme (IBDLP) was inaugurated in Amlarem C&RD Block by the Extra Additional Commissioner, RS Manner on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, R.S. Manners stressed on the environmental aspects of the IBDLP and urged the people to use it as a tool to make a ‘Green War- Jaintia Region’.

Project Manager, MRDS, SF Lyngdoh, outlined the objectives of the IBDLP and explained that EFCs are envisaged as focal points for all activities under the IBDLP and will have Enterprise Resource Persons who will be responsible for mobilizing people to become stakeholders in the Basin Development Programme.
