A driver and two co-passengers of a Mahindra Bolero (MLO5G – 0064) sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with another Bolero (MLO5G – 4108) which was travelling towards Lad Rymbai from Shillong. The incident occurred at Khliehtyrshi under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills on Wednesday. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Jowai helped in shifting the driver Dilip Kumar (27, M), Saibir Khan (48, M) and Amish Ahmed (35, M) to Jowai Civil Hospital.

A TATA Sumo ferrying passengers from Jowai to Khliehriat went off the road after it lost control while trying to overtake another vehicle at Kongong under Khliehriat Block, East Jaintia Hills on Wednesday. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Khliehriat helped in shifting an injured Darihun Talang to Khliehrait CHC.

Two passengers of a local taxi Maruti 800 (MLO5C – 6468) sustained injuries when the vehicle hit the earth on the side of the road near the view point at Ryndang Briew, Shillong on Wednesday. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Lawmali helped in shifting Rangdajied Nongkhlaw (30, M) and Phrangbor Nongkhlaw (23, M) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
