SHILLONG: The ANVC-B has alleged that funds for the upcoming election are being sourced through certain associations in Garo Hills.

“These associations have political backing and funds are streamlined through a mechanism that is totally fool-proof,” ANVC-B leader Rimpu Marak said.

According to the outfit, deals are being made at the top-most level which very few know of and all within the association with adherence to complete secrecy.

“This was mechanized to control funds flowing to other political parties and the GNLA has a good share in this system,” Marak said.

The outfit warned that the names of these associations with details will be made public if they do not pay heed to the outfit’s warning.
