ANVC-B to study draft peace pact

SHILONG: The breakaway faction of Achik National Volunteer Council (ANVC-B) has said that the outfit would examine the draft settlement agreement prepared by the State government before joining the joining the peace process.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, the ANVC-B leader Rimpu Marak said, “Our priority would be the acceptability of the draft by people.”

“The outfit is now demanding for creation of a Garoland Autonomous Council (GAC) to become partners of the State government in terms of development, administration, governance.
