NONGSTOIN: The second day of the 48-hour road blockade called by the KSU Nongstoin Circle and Nongpyndeng Unit at Nongpyndeng village passed off without any major incident being reported on Tuesday.

While at least seven trucks were partially damaged as stones were pelted by members of the student’s union for not adhering to the bandh the situation remained peaceful throughout the day as vehicles did not attempt to ply via Nongpyndeng.
