Mini marathon
St Mary’s College is organising a mini marathon for its students on December 8 as part of the college’s Platinum Jubilee celebration. Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will flag-off the marathon. Deputy Chief Minister BM Lanong will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
Dorbar Pyllun
The Synjuk ki Kynthei Katholik, Shillong Archdiocese organised the Winter Dorbar Pyllun on December 2 at Mawpdang sub district which falls under the Pynthorumkhrah Parish, which was attended by thousands of faithful from different parishes. The Dorbar passed a resolution ‘to turn to God in prayer asking him to anoint each and every living soul with His Holy Spirit’.
