The inaugural function of the Human Rights workshop for North East India will be held at 4 pm at Presbyterian Church of India (PCI) Assembly Hall, Lachumiere on the theme ‘Building community with human rights and dignity for peace’.
The Department of Mathematics, Shillong College, in collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences in India (NER, Local Chapter) will organise a national seminar on the theme ‘Mathematics: The need of the hour’ for school and college level from 10am onwards to celebrate the National Year of Mathematics 2012 and to commemorate the 125th Birth Anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The William Carey University will hold a seminar on Integrated Learning for Development of North East India from 10am to 4pm at Hotel Landmark Hills, Nongrim Hills.
