Medics’ body threatens stir

SHILLONG: The Megh-alaya Medical Services Association (MMSA) on Tuesday threatened to go for a indefinite strike if police fail to take action against the miscreants who assaulted and looted Dr Apchan Sangma, a resident doctor of Mahendraganj Community Health Centre (CHC) recently.

Informing this here on Tuesday, the general Secretary of MMSA Dr Aman Warr said the association has taken this issue very seriously adding that they will submit a memorandum to the government on Wednesday to seek immediate actions against the miscreants.
