SHILLONG: On the second day of the Shillong Games basketball tournament, Nongrim Hills SC outclassed Laban SC 30-6, while Lawmali SC beat Young XI SC 36-19 in the boys’ event.

After a close defeat on Monday to Lumdiengjri SC, Wahingdoh SC bounced back to beat Laitumkhrah SC in an even tighter contest, 38-36.

Lumdiengjri, meanwhile, beat Umpling SC 38-11.

Among the girls, Nongthymmai SC defeated Lawsohtun SC 65-20, while Lawmali SC got the better of Marbisu SC 32-16.

As on Monday, the girls’ team from Malki were a no-show, which gave Mawkhar a walkover.
