SHILLONG: Congress legislator Augustine Marak is likely to contest the upcoming Assembly elections from UDP. Marak , who did not apply for Congress ticket, is in touch with the UDP functionaries, sources on Thursday said. A UDP leader said, ” Marak had contacted me two weeks back expressing his desire to join our party and we hope that he will join UDP after the New Year”.
