New Delhi: The conference of state police chiefs and chief secretaries has suggested a slew of measures such as increasing punishment for gang-rape, fast-track courts for crimes against women, zero tolerance for petty offences and recruiting more women in police to combat such crimes, an official press release said on Sunday.
