NONGSTOIN: The Office of the Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills District, has issued a notice in relation to the model code of conduct for guidance of political parties and candidates issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The notice prohibits the transmission of objectionable messages through SMS’ as per the ECI regulation.
It further adds that all such messages can be forwarded to the numbers below along with the number of the sender.
