AIR organises musical festival

 SHILLONG: A musical festival on patriotic songs entitled Ki Sur Ieit Ri organised by All India Radio, Shillong was held at Sri Aurobindo Cultural Hall recently.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, NEPA Director AK Mathur congratulated AIR for organising the programme that coincided with the Beating of the Retreat which ended the Republic Day celebrations.

Artists from Khasi, Jaintia and Garo Hills enthralled the crowd with their repertoire of inspiring and meaningful music, the lyrics of which touched the hearts of all.
