SP looking to field 16 candidates

 SHILLONG: The Samajwadi Party is looking to field as many a s 16 candidates for the February 23 Assembly election in the State.

Former Minister Manirul Isalm Sarkar , who is a party functionary said over phone that the party will also field Binod Joshi, son of former Congress legislator D. N Joshi among others to contest in the upcoming polls.

Sarkar will contest from Phulbari
