SHILLONG: In a First Division league match of the Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, Lumpyngngad SCC narrowly defeated Madanryting SCC by 15 runs at Polo Grounds.
Lumpyngngad won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a total of 136-9 in 35 overs.
Arjun took his time to score 39 of those runs, but his was a crucial innings. Vishal Chettri and Sunny Pathaw took two wickets apiece for Madanryting.
In reply, Madanryting were bowled out for just 121 in 28 overs.
Ajay scored 23 while Ganesh and Laxman took a brace of wickets each.
