Symbols allotted to Independent candidates

Jowai: Symbols was on Saturday allotted to the independent candidates of 1-Nartiang, 2-Jowai, 3-Ralaing, 4-Mookaiaw and 7-Amlarem Assembly Constituencies at 3.15Pm by the Returning Officers.

Thereafter, a meeting of all the Candidates, Election Agents and Party Representatives was held in the presences of the Observers, Expenditure Observer, Polling Officers along with the Returning Officers and other officials in the Conference hall.

During the deliberation the candidates were briefed on the procedures for maintenance of accounts and expenditure as well as the consequences for fairly to comply with the instructions to Election Commission of India.

Model Code of Conduct was again briefed to all and it was decided to have a detail training of all Election Agents on February 11 at 11.00 AM.

1- Nartiang Assembly Constituency-

lHilarius Dkhar , symbol allotted – Battery Torch

2- Jowai Assembly Constituency-

lHeimon Hinge, Symbol allotted –Candles

lMoonlight Pariat- Symbol allotted – Dao

3-Raliang Assembly Constituency –

lEmboklang Dhar, Symbol allotted – Table

4- Mookaiaw Assembly Constituency –

lRobinus Syngkon, Symbol allotted – Candles

7-Amlarem Assembly Constituency –

lDunno Nongpluh, Symbol allotted-Battery TorchlStephanson Mukhim Symbol allotted –Dao
