SHILLONG: Laban CC defeated Boys of Gorkha CC, while Pinewood CC defeated Clusters CC in Second Division matches of the Shillong Cricket League at Polo Grounds.
In the first match, Gorkha CC won the toss and elected to bat first, putting up a score of 104 runs all out in 18.4 overs. Sameer scored 23 while Banteilang took 4-17.
In reply, Laban made 107-1 in 14.5 overs. Banteilang Dkhar scored 38 and Mark Laloo scored 40.
In the second match, Pinewood made a total of 132-6 in 20 overs after choosing to bat first. Gopal Sunar scored 26 off just 13 balls while Manish took 4-15. In reply, Clusters were restricted to 99 for nine in their 20 overs. Suraj scored 35 runs while Krishna Thapa took 4-15 off four overs.
Meanwhile, according to a Shillong Cricket Association release, there will be no matches between February 13-15.
