Two motorbikes collided with each other near the Sacred Heart School, Williamnagar on February 13 around 6am. Rounu Sangma (22, M), Rupanchi Dora Shira (23, F), Tengchang Shira (21y, M) and Emae Marak (21, F) were shifted to Williamnagar Civil Hospital.
A truck heading towards Jowai from Guwahati was involved in a head-on collision with another truck coming from the opposite direction at Pommura under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills, on February 13 around midnight. Best Ryngkhlem (32, F) was shifted to KJP Mission Hospital, Jowai.
In a hit and run case reported from Dakopgre in Tura, a motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries when they fell off the motorbike after it was hit by another vehicle near the FCI storehouse at Dakopgre under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills. Resab S Marak (17, M) and John Marak (17, M) were shifted to Holy Cross Hospital, Tura.
