Prohibition

All teachers and other employees of Government and Government-aided institutions are prohibited from taking part, directly or indirectly, in canvassing in the forthcoming elections as this tantamount to violation of rules of code of conduct of such employees.

Health checkup

Roko Cancer Charitable Trust will organise a mega health-cum-cancer check up camp on February 16 at Punjabi Gurudwara, near St. Anthony’s College from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

Eye checkup

The Meghalaya Youth Foundation (MYF) in collaboration with Mission Trust, Bawri Nethralaya, Shillong will be conduct a free eye checkup camp at Laitkor (Rngi) Community Hall, East Khasi Hills District on February 15 from 10:30 am onwards. The MYF also organised a free spectacles distribution programme at Mawkynrew Village, East Khasi Hills District on Wednesday.

Common platform

The Dorbar Shnong, Mawprem, will organise a common platform on February 16 at 2 pm at the mini sport complex, Lower Mawprem, to allow all the candidates contesting from 18-Shillong West constituency to present their views and policies towards development of the constituency.
