SHILLONG: The State unit of BJP has asserted that the party is quite strong in Nongthymmai constituency even if it has a fight with Congress and UDP candidates.
BJP general secretary Dipayan Chakraborty on Thursday said that the there is anti-Congress wave in the constituency and BJP candidate too is capable of beating UDP and Congress candidates in the election.
“Our candidate Ehkupar Nongrum has won the heart of the voters of the constituency,” he said while adding that the constituency still lacks many infrastructures.
