SHILLONG: CLP leader Dr Mukul Sangma on Friday said that with the formation of a stable Government, there would not be any repeat of frequent change of governments as witnessed in the past.

The State had four governments since 2008 which resulted in instability and hampered development.

The past history of Meghalaya politics had also marked many toppling games.

Asked how he would address the issue of instability, Dr Sangma said, “The same question was asked in 2010 when I assumed office. Our focus is on development and there is no time for engineering instability by anyone”.
