Swearing-in-Ceremony of the Judge of the newly created High Court of Meghalaya, T Nandakumar Singh and Additional Judge, Sudip Ranjan Sen will be conducted at the Hall of the High Court at 10.00 am on March 23.
Orientation programme
The Meghalaya State Women Commission in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Health and Family Welfare will organise an orientation programme for medical officers and police personnel on matters relating to crime and violence against women and children on March 22 in the State Reserve Centre conference room at 10 am at Civil Hospital, Shillong.
LPG cylinder
The Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department has informed to all domestic subsidized LPG consumers that the Union Government has revised the annual cap on subsidized domestic LPG cylinders from 3 to 5 cylinders for the period from September 2012 to March 31, 2013 and from 6 to 9 cylinders annually with effect from April 1, 2013.
Election of local headman

World Water Day
The Phudmuri Presbyterian Youth Association for Integrated Development will organise awareness programme on ‘Protection and conservation of the catchment area of Umshing River’ at the conference hall of Shillong Polytechnic at Mawlai Kyntonmassar from 10am onwards on March 23 as part of the theme ‘Water Cooperation’ where UN general assembly has declared 2013 as the UN international year of water cooperation.

Golden Jubilee
The Sein Kur Le Kyllung, clan organisation of the three clans Rymbai, Toi and Najiar which will hold its Golden Jubilee celebration on August 24 will hold the clan’s general body meeting meeting at 1.30 pm at the K.J.P Higher Secondary School Mission Compound on March 30.
