SHILLONG: A person died after being struck by lightning on Thursday night. According to the police, one Augustine Dkhar (57) was struck by lightning at Mawtawar Mawsyiem, East Khasi Hills on Thursday. He was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong, where he was declared brought dead.
