Arrest made in Iawmusiang murder case

SHILLONG: Jowai Police on Tuesday apprehended the accused of the Iawmusiang murder case, Arun Singh (40) from Silchar after the latter had been in hiding for almost 5 days. Informing this on Tuesday, West Jaintia Hills SP Herbert G Lyngdoh said that the accused hailing from Manipur was involved in murdering his friend, Moni Singh (38) on last Thursday morning at Silchar.

The SP also informed that the accused has been brought back to Jowai and he will be produce to the court on Wednesday.
