KSU to observe ‘Awakening Day’

NONGPOH: The Khasi Students’ Union North Khasi Hills Unit, through its general secretary Vincent Makri had informed that, the Student Body will organize a public rally through the main street of Nongpoh Town on April 4 to mark the ‘National Awakening Day’ which will start at 5:00pm from Pahamsyiem NSCA playground to Nongpoh MUDA Market Complex. “The main objective of the rally is to make people aware of its long journey and its activities contributed for the welfare of the community”, informed Makri.

The Union has called upon the people of Ri Bhoi District including youths and elder and also the leaders of different Organization to join the rally to make the occasion a success.
