Siren trial
The Office of the Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Shillong as a part of commissioning of the electronic Air Raid precaution equipment will carry out the test trial of all the newly installed sirens in seven locations of Shillong from April 3 for 7 days.
Function
Governor RS Mooshahary will attend the function of the Seng Khasi at Banuin village, upper Shillong on April 3 at 11 am.
Conference
Social Welfare Department in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development will organise a regional conference on restructured ICDS on April 4 at Shillong Club at 10 am.
Office bearers
The Arunachal Pradesh Pensioners’ Welfare Association elected the new office bearers for the year 2013-2015 with OS Chyne as the president, Anthony Lyngdoh as the vice president, CV Pugh as the general secretary, N Khongsit as the joint secretary, DP Joshi as the treasurer, TK Bhattacharjee as the adviser among others.
