SHILLONG: Acting on a specific intelligence input, special patrolling party of BSF deployed in South West Khasi Hills on Thursday apprehended one Bangladeshi illegal immigrant identified as Badal Hajong (23) while he was trying to exfiltrate into Bangladesh from India.

The BSF recovered a knife and cash from his possession.

In another incident on the same day, special patrolling party of BSF deployed in South West Khasi Hills district apprehended two Bangladeshi illegal immigrants identified as Md Phukan (24) and Saddam Hussain (16) while they were trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh.
