JOWAI: Coal traders under the banner of Jaintia Coal Suppliers Association (JCSA) supplying coal to cement plants in East Jaintia Hills has decided to temporarily stop the supplying of coal to Dalmia Cements Limited located at Thangskai village in the district.According to the JCSA chairman, Balen Thubru, the decision was taken after the company failed to comply with their demand to minimise the deduction of rate per metric ton of coal. “The Company has always classed our coal as low quality “, Thubru said adding that the company is treating even the best quality coal as low quality just to exploit the suppliers.
