Fraud
One Dakaru Suchiang lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that unknown miscreants have fraudulently applied for a SIM card in her name, forged her signature and submitted her photograph / ST Certificate which was missing since the year 2011.
Burglary attempt
On April 9 midnight, one minor boy (14) attempted to commit burglary in a shop belonging to one Valentina Nongrum at Lumiablot, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
Threat
One Babul Uddin Chowdhury lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on April 9 at around 3 pm, one Joshna Lyngdoh along with four to five male accomplices assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences at GS Road, Police Bazar.
Col. Raman Kumar Arora of ARC, Happy Valley lodged a complaint at Madanriting PS that on April 6 at around 6:47 pm, he received an SMS from a mobile phone (9803174334), threatening him to leave Shillong.
Theft
On April 7, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 1,06,500 from the house of one Nichwa Lhuid at Ialong village (WJH).

Principal of St Edmund’s College, Dr. Sylvanus Lamare lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on April 3, unknown persons defamed and tarnished the image of the College, Shillong and its Staff, by misusing the page titled ‘St. Edmund Confession Spot-Pour Out Your Heart Edmundians’ in Facebook.
