Cyclone aftermath: 13 schools cease to function

A school left ravaged by the recent cyclone in West Khasi Hills. As many as 13 schools in Mawshynrut area of West Khasi Hills District have been closed indefinitely following the devastation caused. Even as the young students offered a helping hand in the construction work to ensure early resumption of classes, there is a lot to be done and the funds required for the reconstruction could further prolong the reopening of schools.
