SHILLONG: The two juveniles who managed to escape from the juvenile home in Shillong on Sunday morning were brought back to the juvenile home. Both girls are under trial prisoners. They escaped from the juvenile home in Shillong but were re-arrested in West Jaintia Hills.

East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that since they were minors they have been sent back to the juvenile home. It may be mentioned here that West Jaintia Hills police had arrested five of the six accused – three males and two females – for allegedly murdering two coal traders, Wit Latam and Troman Tangliang, in January last.
