Meeting
The meeting of the Dorbar Shnong Bishnupur Kench’s Trace will be held on April 20 at Deba Kumar Memorial Hall, Bishnupur. The agenda for the meeting include adoption of the constitution of the Durbar Shnong, general report and to fix the date for election of Rangbah Shnong.
Yagna
Yagna Committee will organise a two day yagna along with devotional music for world peace at AG Quarter’s community hall, Motinagar from April 22-23 from 10 pm onwards.
Relief material
The Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya branch handed over the relief materials to the Extra Assistant Commissioner of West Khasi Hills for the distribution of relief materials to the affected families of Mawshynrut village.
Body found
The East Khasi Hills SP has informed that one unidentified male person was found lying at Lawmali junction and he was shifted to Shillong Civil hospital where he expired and his body has been kept at the morgue.
Adalat
The State Government will hold a pension Adalat cum training at MATI from May 6-8. This is organised in respect of pending pension cases of various departments and offices of the state government.
Eye camp
The 6-Khliehriat Assembly Youth Congress organised a free eye camp in collaboration with Bansara Eye Care Centre, Shillong at Khliehriat on Wednesday. As many as 200 people attended the free camp.
