The proposal for the orientation programme which was approved by the Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training is optional for the MLAs.

Under the three-day programme which starts from April 29, the legislators would

Almost half of the MLAs in the Assembly are first timers and the orientation programme is expected to provide them the much needed expertise with regards to the rules and proceedings of the House.
