GSU threatens agitation

 SHILLONG: The Garo Students Union (GSU), Southern zone has warned that it will resort to agitations if the State government goes ahead with the construction of dam to divert Simsang source to different parts of Garo hills for the greater water supply scheme.

In a statement issued here, GSU said that they opposed the construction of the dam to divert Simsang source to different parts of Garo hills as the inhabitants along the Simsag river will suffer the worst from the move of the Government.
