SHILLONG: In a welcome relief for residents of the city, load shedding has been temporarily withdrawn from Thursday night.

MeECL PRO EB Kharmujai said that the water level has risen in the Myntdu-Leshka Project and power was available as a result of which load shedding was not enforced. He, however, stated that MeECL would again resort to load shedding as and when required when power is not available.
