SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Olympic Association, MSOA, in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs will organize the “Youth Fest 2013″as part of the Year of the Youth Celebration in the Districts of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills, Ri Bhoi District,West Garo Hills, East Garo Hills and South Garo Hills on May 18 and the State Level Grand Finale on May 25.
The events include a Half Marathon, Music Competition ( Individual -Folk/Modern and Bands ), Debate and Quiz.
Attractive Prize money, Trophies and Certificates will be awarded to the winners of the various events.
All youths aged between 16 and 35 are invited to take part in the various events to be held at Shillong, Jowai, Nongpoh, Nongstoin, Tura, Williamnagar and Baghmara.
