Theft cases
lOn the night of May 9, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Rahul Jasrasaria at Motphran, Shillong and stole Rupees Two lakhs and one cell phone.
lOn May 9 around 9 pm, unidentified miscreants snatched an ATM card, one cell phone and Rupees One thousand One hundred from Anedieous Syad (23) at Khlieh Shnong, Malki, Shillong. The miscreants also took away his scooter (ML-05B-5277).
lWeshalness Salahe lodged a complaint at Saipung PS that on May 8, it was detected that unknown miscreants stole equipments from a mobile tower at Saipung (East Jaintia Hills).
lMarlinda lodged a complaint at Gomaghat Outpost that on May 7 at about 10 pm, five masked miscreants armed with lethal weapons, went to her residence cum wine shop at Panchiring (South West Khasi Hills) and looted one finger ring and Rupees Fifty thousand.
lWis Manner, Secretary, Mynthning village lodged a complaint at Saipung PS that on May 7 around 10 am, Begin Paslein and Heimon Manner along with twelve others armed with lethal weapons, stole huge number of logs from Mynthning Village Forest (East Jaintia Hills)
lOn May 6 around 6.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-04A-6056) belonging to Bhalu Sharma from Mopala village, East Jaintia Hills.
Misappropriation
Anita Langstieh lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS that on May 8, she handed over Rupees Three lakh to one Khrawbok L. Nongbri to deposit the same at Central Bank of India. Instead, Khrawbok L. Nongbri misappropriated the amount.
Abuse
On May 7, one Ved Kumar Arya indecently abused and assaulted his wife at Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
Threat
Maira Sohlang lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on May 7, two persons-Sai and Bahbah, threatened her with dire consequences at Bara Bazar, Shillong.
Closure of Petrol pump
Manager of Lyngngam Petrol pump, Riangdo (West Khasi Hills) lodged a complaint at Sonapahar Outpost that on May 3, Members of FKJGP, KSU, and WKHSU Mawshynrut Circle, led by Arklelos Diengngan, President of FKJGP Mawshynrut Circle, had kept the petrol pump under lock and key, alleging non-availability of fuel in the pump. They also demanded replacement of non-tribal workers with the locals.
