SHILLONG: After putting up a fight for many months now which recently got the attention of the government, the Association of Qualified Grade-IV, 2011, East Khasi Hills District on Sunday asked the government to speed up with the issuance of appointment letters to the deserving candidates and asked the same to inform about the different vacant posts to the District Selection Committee (DSC).

“We urge the departments to appoint the deserving candidates who got through the various examinations conducted by DSC, MPSC and others a bit sooner”, vice president of the Association B Pyrtuh said on Sunday.

Pyrtuh informed that the association will hold a general meeting on May 14 at Khasi National Dorbar Hall, Mawkhar at 10am to discuss on this matter after the government had yet again delayed in the appointments.
