MeECL engineer, daughter killed in accident

 SHILLONG: MeECL engineer Larry Kyndiah (37) and his three-year-old daughter Dekamohor Sutnga were killed on the spot after the Santro (ML04 A 5656) in which they were travelling collided with a Tata Sumo (ML10 A 3322) at Laitkor on Sunday evening.

Kyndiah’s wife Elgiba Sutnga (27), their six month old daughter Daewan Sutnga and his three relatives Arkini Phawa (16), Mandakini Sutnga (20) and Balashisha Sutnga (18) are critically injured in the accident. All the five injured are admitted at Woodland Hospital.

Police informed that the occupants of the Tata Sumo received minor injuries including the driver identified as Pynskhem Lyngshiang. Others are Solpha Sumer, Tling Suting, Haren Sumer, Sukmon Sumer, Horbing Sumer, Moren Sumer, Ruson Sumer and Wei Sumer.

All the injured, occupants of Tata Sumo from Mawsna village in Ri-Bhoi district have been shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
