Relief for cyclone victims

 NONGSTOIN: In aid of the victims of the cyclone which hit West Khasi Hills recently, the West Khasi Students’ Union donated a sum of Rs 50,000 on Tuesday.

The WKSU handed over the relief funds to the West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner S Kharlyngdoh.

WKSU organizing secretary, Badapboklang Marthong, appealed to the people of the State to come to the rescue of those in need.

Meanwhile the Nongstoin Tourist Maxi Cab Owner’s & Driver’s Association also donated a cheque of Rs 20,000 to the Deputy Commissioner Relief funds, West Khasi Hills.
