SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong junior team coach Bobby L Nongbet has resigned from his post.

He joined the club in 2007 and, under him, the junior Lajong team have won several tournaments.

During his time at the club, junior Lajong had made the final of the Under-15 World Club Finals in Manchester in 2010.

Nongbet’s last stint with the team was the recent Under-16 invitational tournament of the Meghalaya Football Players Association where his boys finished as runners-up.

When contacted, Nong-bet said that he has resigned for personal reasons.
