SHILLONG: The Referees Committee of the Shillong Sports Association, which held a meeting on May 20, has decided to have a one-day Referees Clinic for all football referees on Saturday, May 25, from 10:00am in the Conference Room of the Association at the JN Sports Complex, Polo.

All football referees are requested to attend this clinic before the start of all football tournaments, the SSA said through a press release.

M Shangpliang, a retired referee, will impart guidelines to all referees attending the clinic.

The committee also once again discussed the instruction of the Meghalaya Football Association not to have an independent Referee Board in the SSA and has therefore taken a decision to discontinue its relation with the Shillong Referee Board.
