SHILLONG: The Presbyterian Church Nongjri under Nongnah-Kulang district Rangthong Presbytery, South West Khasi Hills will repair the PWD road from Rajaju to Nongjri following the failure of the Government to improve the road.
The Presbyterian Church Nongjri secretary PD Hahshah in a statement issued said the church will carry out the repair work on May 24 so that vehicles ferrying faithfuls to attend the Praise and Worship gathering can ply through the road.
The gathering of the Jingiaseng Samla Nongnah-Kulang district is scheduled on May 25 and 26.
