SHILLONG: The Grant Finale of the State Level Youth Fest 2013 will be held in Shillong on May 25, starting with the Half marathon where 15 top marathon runners from each of the 7 district boys and girls will battle it out.
Sports and Youth Affairs Parliamentary Secretary Stephenson Mukhim, will Flag off the marathon at 7am from Madan Iewrynghep(Fire brigade). Beningstar Lyngkhoi, international Athtlete from the State will also take part.
The quiz and debate competition would start from 10 am onwards till 12 noon. After this, top 7 bands, 28 solo singer Folk and Modern music will battle it out for the Top Prize at U Soso Tham Auditorium.
Additional Chief Secretary P Barkos Warjri will be the Chief Guest. The entry for the event is free.
